WP7 ja Metro disainikeel ning nõuanded programmeerijatele

Eneta kommuuniõhtu: WP7 ja Metro disainikeel 8. veebruar, IT Kolledž + veebiloeng, algus kell 18.00 Agu Suur (Axinom) räägib hea "Metro" disaini ja kasutajakogemuse (UX) vajalikkusest tänastes mobiilirakendustes ning sellest, mida igaüks saab selle parandamiseks ära teha. Ülikasulik kuulamine igaühele, kes plaanib mõne Windows Phone 7 või Windows 8 rakenduse luua, on seda juba tegemas või tahab parandada olemasoleva äppi UX-i.

The AppZircus Tallinn winner QMinder makes it to Barcelona!

Qminder made it through the tough competition to reach the finals of Mobile Premiere Awards in Barcelona.

Mobile Premiere Awards write that the top 20 global apps from the AppCircus 2011 World Tour have today been announced to pitch live for Best App of the Year at the 6th Annual Mobile Premier Awards on February 27th, in Barcelona –  coinciding with the Mobile World Congress.
The twenty AppCircus finalists were selected by an international jury of mobile industry heavyweights, including experts from FacebookTwitter and Mozilla out of 47 other AppCircus World Tour winners from 26 countries world-wide. All finalists selected to pitch at the Mobile Premier Awards were winners of their respective countries during the AppCircus world tour in 2011.

Monday 21.11, Tallinn, full of great presenters: Andreas Constantinou from VisionMobile; Saint-Petersburg ICT & mobile industry business representatives; AppCircus - the showcase of the most innovative and creative apps in the region.

Mobile Monday Estonia, with cooperation of Technopolis Ülemiste, ICT Export Cluster, The City of Tallinn and European Regional Development Fund is ready to host a number of great presenters on Monday 21th 2011 at Tehnopolis Ülemiste. The event is full of diverse presentation and showcases from from all over the world starting at 13:30 till around 20:30.

Mobile Monday Estonia event will be opened by one of the worlds leading market analysis and strategy company's Founder and Managing Director, Andreas Constantinou from VisionMobile. Andreas will be describing the ins and outs of mobile ecosystem at present state. As Founder and Managing Director, Andreas oversees the research and strategy projects at VisionMobile. He has ten years of experience in mobile having led strategy projects for brand-name clients across the industry, including Nokia, RIM, Telenor, Telefonica, Vodafone, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Gemalto and Tieto.

Delegation of Saint-Petersburg ICT & mobile industry business representatives
From 20.-22. of Nov 2011 a prominent delegation of Russian ICT delegates are visiting Tallinn, Estonia. During the three-day visit, the delegation will meet prominent Estonian ICT companies, organizations, representatives and the public presenting their business to the interested parties.

The main purpose of this visit is to have a chance to show how we work in mobile ecosystem. Number of our partners are lined up to meet the guests. Some to name are: Technopolis Ülemiste, Estonia ICT Demo Centre, Tehnopol, The Estonian Information Technology College, Garage48HUB, Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications / ITL, The City of Tallinn and many others.

Before the Russian companies present we have two excellent speakers to give you the view from the Estonian side of European Unions border of doing business in Russia.

Doing business in St. Petersburg and understanding the Russian business culture
Ivan Shapran (Project Manager, Strategic Development Centre, Elion Enterprises) and Toomas Kästik (Doing Business St. Petersburg, Enterprise Estonia Representative in Saint-Petersburg) will be giving their view on how to do business in Russia and then it is time to present the delegates.

World famous AppCircus comes to Estonia, Tallinn, Technopolis Ülemiste

Do you want to present your app at Mobile Premiere Awards during the Mobile World Congress 2012? Come and present your mobile application at AppCircus Tallinn! Deadline for app submission is 06.11.2011

AppCircus, the showcase of the most innovative and creative apps,  arrives to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, on the 21st of November at the Technopolis Ülemiste.

AppCircus is open and free to developers, startups and any other organization with apps on any platform, giving a great chance to present live their applications on stage.

An international jury will select one winner, who will get an opportunity to be nominated for the Mobile Premier Awards 2012, which are held during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The deadline to participate is the 11th of November 2011!

Rules for Participation:

  • Submissions and presentations to AppCircus are FREE and open to any developer, startup or company.

  • Applicants must send one representative to present the app live on stage.

  • The apps selected will have  three minutes to pitch on stage.

  • Apps are submitted through the AppCircus platform at appcircus.com.

  • Registration and membership for AppCircus are FREE!

  • appcircus.com members need to add the app to their profile before applying for an AppCircus.

  • Candidates can submit more than one app.

  • Each app can only be presented in one AppCircus, unless if it receives a Runner up Waiver.

  • One app in each AppCircus event will be nominated for the pool of apps from which the 20 finalists for the Mobile Premier Awards 2012 will be selected.

  • The app with the most votes, after the nomination winner, will receive a “Runner up Waiver”, which allows the app to reapply for selection for another AppCircus.
We encourage all the mobile app developers in the region to participate in the event. AppCircus gives the great opportunity to maximize the companie's visibility all over the mobile industry and the chance to win the presentation at the most prominent mobile event of the year - Mobile World Congress 2011.

Use the opportunity and register by submitting the app for the AppCircus in Tallinn. The submission deadline is 11th of November 2011!

Andreas Constantinou, Founder and Managing Director of VisionMobile, a leading market analysis and strategy firm for all things connected, is visiting Estonia, Tallinn with a comprehensive presentation about the mobile market state to date. The presentation is given on 21st of November at the Technopolis Ülemiste.

As Founder and Managing Director, Andreas oversees the research and strategy projects at VisionMobile. AppCamp the biggest mobiel app development boot camp in Baltics
