Thanks for another great event!

Ma olen kindel, et te nõustute minuga kui ütlen, et eelmise esmaspäeva mobiilimaksete üritus oli järjekordne kordaminek. Uus formaat ning Shah klubi toimumiskohana töötasid ülihästi. Me tahamegi kõiki tänada, kes kohale tulid ning samuti kõiki kõnelejaid ning avatud vestlusringis osalejaid. Eriti täname me aga Ericsson IPX'i suure toetuse ja suurepärase catering'i eest.

Neile kes kohale ei jõudnud - üritusel vaheldusid väga huvitavad arutelud ning loomulikult ka söök ja jook:

• Teiste hulgas avaldas Hanna (meie sponsori Ericsson IPX'i esindaja), et mõned Euroopa mobiilioperaatoritest pakuvad nüüd teatud sorti sisu- (content) ja teenustepakkujatele kõrgemaid käibemarginaale SMS teenuste pealt.;


• Mobi näitas, kui lihtne on üles seada nende Fortumo teenust, mis laieneb peatselt uutesse ja huvitavatesse riikidesse - me nägime reaalajas videokonverentsi, et seda tõestada!


• Playtech näitas oma oma laia valikut maksemeetodeid, mis töötasid otse mobiiltelefonil nende Java-põhiste mänguklientide sees;


• Tom Godber, MoMo Estonia ja Masabi esindajana andis (üli ;) kiire ülevaate MoMo Global Summit'ist Kuala Lumpuris, Malaisias, küsides, mida me saame teha, et lähendada Eestit ja Mobile Monday ülemaailmset community'it. Tom rääkis samuti mobiilimaksetest ning sellest milliseid nõudmisi peab mobiilimaksetele üldse esitama, et need laiamastaabilist edu saavutaks;


• Meie avatud vestlusring kattis ära väga laia valiku mobiilimaksetega seotud teemasid. Linnar Viik algatas arutelu ja tõi näiteks kütusefinantseerimise skeeme Sri Lanka tuk tuk taksojuhtidele. Karla Agan rääkis põhjalikult, kuidas pangad lähenevad mobiilimaksetele. Mart Kikas visandas lahendusi, kuidas me võiksime areneda m-maksete ühiskonna suunas ning Hanna Fröman valgustas mobiilimakseid üksikisiku personaalsest vaatepunktist.

I think that everyone will agree that last Monday's mPayments event was another success, with the new format and venue working very well - so thanks to all of you for attending, thanks to our speakers and panellists, and especial thanks to Ericsson IPX for the excellent catering!

For those that could not attend, the event featured a range of very stimulating discussion interspersed with food and drink:

• Among other things, Hanna from our sponsors Ericsson IPX revealed that some European operators are now offering to give content owners higher cuts from Premium SMS revenues for some types of content;


• Mobi showed us how simple it is to set up their Fortumo service, which is expanding to new countries this summer - we saw the live
  video link to prove their plans!


• Playtech showed a bewildering array of payment options working live inside their Java game clients;


• Tom Godber of MoMo Estonia and Masabi gave a (very ;) quick summary of the Global Summit asking what we can do to help bring the global MoMo community together, and also talked net pain relief as a key requirement for mPayments;


• Our panel covered a huge range of topics, with Linnar Viik discussing petrol finance options for Sri Lankan tuk tuk drivers, Karla Agan getting to the root of how banks can address mobile services, Mart Kikas outlining how we will evolve into a mobile payment society and Hanna Fröman giving some personal perspective on the case for annonymous payments.
